Nonprofit Capacity-Building and Consulting Services

Amy Haynes Coaching and Consulting offers a blend of coaching and facilitation services to nonprofit organizations. This high-impact combination of coaching and consulting activates and accelerates a process to achieve goals and sustain positive changes. In my role, I create a framework for organizations to identify solutions, create meaningful action plans, and define ongoing accountability and measurement of progress. I build on the strengths and wisdom of my clients to have a razor sharp focus on meeting the most important and urgent needs of the communities they serve, while building a workplace culture that is supportive and accountable.  More specifically, here is a list of areas of expertise:

  • The design and facilitation of staff retreats to meet organizational needs through reflection, learning, and planning.
  • Executive and leadership transition support.
  • Organizational coaching to support staff in using their strengths to become more effective managers and leaders.
  • The design, development, and delivery of high quality staff training sessions. Sample training topics include: victim advocacy strategies, preventing burn-out for social workers, practical methods for managing workflow, community outreach strategy development, identifying and activating organizational strengths, community organizing methods, program evaluation, and how to create a training curriculum.
  • Facilitation of difficult and important conversations among staff, teams, and organizations to build consensus about organizational priorities and strategies.
  • Leading a process for organizations to align service delivery priorities strategies with community needs.
  • Develop vision and strategy for organizations to have a stronger community impact through mergers and collaboration.
